As the employee benefits specialist, you will support the company’s life and health department.

You also will support a producer who works with small to large employee groups. You will provide customer support and service to employee benefits customers and will market, maintain accounts and cross sell. You’ll also handle health groups’ open enrollments.

You must have a life and health license as well as at least five years of experience in benefits administration, including life, dental, medical, fully funded insurance plans, and self-funded insurance plans.

You also must have experience with assistance with claim problems and working with carriers and TPAs.

  • Knowledge of COBRA, Medicare Part D and HIPAA.
  • Good familiarity with all aspects of benefits insurance, from the application process through policy analysis.
