In short, in this position you’ll be “responsible for patient advocacy, health decision support, and coaching services for participants as they utilize health benefits provided by plan, coordinating a multidisciplinary team approach to program services and health improvement.”

You should have your current California Registered Nurse certification. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

To the east of Santa Monica is downtown Los Angeles with its fantastic sports arena, Staples Center (note that there’s no “the” in the name), the Los Angeles Public Library, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion (once the site of the Oscars presentation), Hollywood and the Kodak Theater (now the site of the Oscars), Beverly Hills, Universal Studios, the Getty Center, and just an unbelievable amount of things to do, see and experience.

The desert – as well as the lovely resort town of Palm Springs – is just 2.5 hours to the east of Santa Monica. Head there for a weekend getaway and you’ll feel as if you’ve traveled to another part of the planet (in a good way; Palm Springs is, indeed, quite relaxing and gorgeous in the stark beauty of the desert nestled to the east of the San Jacinto Mountains).
