Job Responsibilities
The Personal Lines Department Manager will oversee the entire personal lines department at this respected retail insurance agency in Fresno. The person in this role will be responsible for driving business results and developing talent.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience and success in managing, marketing and selling property and casualty insurance in a competitive market. The candidate will also be required to mentor and manage a team of employees so strong leadership skills are necessary.
Qualifications
The person hired for the job must have a current property and casualty insurance license with deep knowledge of the property and casualty insurance process and underwriting guidelines. The ability to service a book of business and manage a team is a necessity. Excellent verbal and written communication along with the ability to effectively manage, coach, mentor and train employees is required.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably a managerial role with an insurance agency, carrier or MGA.
