Insurance Relief has an opening for a property and casualty commercial lines account manager with a company in Anaheim, California. This is a direct hire position. The account manager will oversee a large book of business in the company’s commercial unit. The company is looking for someone who is high energy, team oriented and people friendly.
The person must also have experience working with large accounts in a fast-paced environment, deliver exceptional customer service and focus on production.
Responsibilities of the job include direct contact with clients, providing excellent customer service, consulting with clients on coverage options and offering the most appropriate coverage for the client. The account manager is also responsible for marketing, new and ongoing business, developing and maintaining relationships with carriers, processing binders and confirmation of coverage to clients.
They will also handle certificates and change requests, audit processing, conduct initial review of policies and prepare coverage breakdowns. The person hired for the job will also respond to correspondence, telephone and in-person inquiries from those who are insured about coverage, policy changes, premium payments and related issues. Other duties include receiving and reviewing quotes for accuracy, creating and preparing proposals for clients, and assisting in the gathering of renewal exposure information with the producer.
Requirements for the job include a property and casualty license, at least five years of experience in commercial lines account management at a brokerage with construction accounts, excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to effectively assess risk, the ability to work in a team and an in-depth knowledge of different insurance coverage, products and agency procedures.
